DECK FRAMING CLOSEUP

Not much to say here. This shows back/under side of ramp. We did our decks a little different than the way it was mentioned in modular_halfpipe. The way we did it kept everything modular, without dropping 4x4s in concrete. From the back of where 2 frame sections connect there's an 1-1/2" gap. Place a 2x6 in there. Bolt a 2x4 onto each side of the 2x6. The 2x4s are 3-1/2" shorter than the 2x6s that are placed in the gaps on the back of the ramp sections. The decks are built, 8 in all 4 on each end, and set down between the 2x6s and on top of the 2x4s, which remember were 3-1/2" shorter than the 2x6s. Now, the decks line up with the 2x6s. Now, run a 5" bolt through the decks and a 2x6.
